The short version

ScrollSave is built so that the most sensitive things about you never reach us at all. Your app usage stays on your phone. Your money stays in your own bank accounts. We collect close to nothing.

Screen and app usage

The gate runs on Apple's Screen Time framework (Family Controls). Apple designed this framework so that which apps you use, and for how long, is processed on your device and is not readable by us or transmitted to our servers. We never see, store, or sell your app usage.

Your money

Tolls and transfers move between bank accounts that belong to you and are held in your name. ScrollSave never takes custody of your funds and never takes a percentage of your tolls. If you connect a bank account, the connection is made through Plaid, whose handling of your credentials is governed by Plaid's End User Privacy Policy. We do not see or store your bank username or password.

What we do collect

Waitlist email: if you join the waitlist, we store your email address and use it only to tell you about ScrollSave's availability. One-click removal on every email.
Support email: if you write to us, we keep the correspondence to help you.

What we do not do

No ads, no ad tracking, no data sales.
No analytics that identify you personally.
No reading your screen time. We could not; the platform forbids it, and that is why we built on it.

Data on your device

Your goal, ledger, streaks, and settings live on your phone. Deleting the app deletes them.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the app and this page will say so plainly.
